I love Christmas!

Christmas Eve started out at Little America where we had the best lunch with Scotty's whole family. Thanks to my mom for watching my kids so we could have a nice day out. It was nice to be able to actually sit and relax and have a nice lunch. After naps we headed over to the Goff’s for some snacks and a bunch of hors d’oeuvres and games and opening presents.



They are too generous! It was a blast and the kids got so spoiled!! Then it was time to open one present. They each got P.J.s!


They were both very excited and ready to wear them home.


Christmas morning is seriously the best! I absolutely LOVE it w/ kids.

Scotty totally understood what was going on. He kept jumping up and down and would say, "Santa Clause came! Santa Clause came!"


Gracee was excited too and would try to copy everything Scotty did.


I think it's going to just get more and more fun as the years pass. I love this stage that our kids are in. They play together better and better every day.

They got a bunch of candy in their stockings including a HUGE chocolate Santa each. We let them see their stocking stuff after all the presents were open and Scotty immediately tore off the paper and started going to town on the head.

He needed no help and apparently knew it was chocolate! Gracee walked over and wanted to take a taste of the foot. It was HILLARIOUS!

So we let her see that she had her very own to hold and eat and they were both ecstatic.

Taking them away however was very traumatic! Both had a good cry and then got all cleaned up and headed over to the Grays.

It snowed so much on Christmas Eve! We had no choice but to snow blow a path so we could get out. Because of the wind, we had 22 inches in some spots!

I LOVE WHITE CHRISTMAS’S!

It makes my Christmas complete! It was so fun to head out and drive in complete white! We arrived at the Grays around 1 to the fresh smell of Belgian Waffles and my mom’s delicious homemade strawberry jam… YUM! & to top it off… vanilla ice cream!

After we ate we opened presents.


Once again, totally spoiled! The kids then went down for naps and we played some games. Jeff & Amber totally dominated. When had to leave and my mom decided to dominate!

We then headed over to the Goff's for Mic's FABULOUS Prime Rib. You can't get a better prime rib ANYWHERE. It was so delicious. And then we topped it off with some homemade egg nog. Mmmm! I actually don't love egg nog but you literally can not beat homemade kind.

This year was no question on of my all time favorite Christmas’s! Everything went so good and it was quite a relaxing day with no rushing around. It was nice to just go and do as we pleased. So fabulous!! It turned out to be a perfect day! Merry Christmas!
